With 36 distinct damping levels, you can precisely tune your vehicle's handling and comfort by simultaneously adjusting compression and rebound. This system employs a Monotube design, separating oil and gas within the cylinder. Compared to twin-tube designs, the Monotube construction dissipates heat more effectively, allows for finer damping adjustments, and reduces issues like aeration and cavitation, resulting in a more consistent and reliable ride quality. Constructed with durability and performance in mind, most components, including mounts, are crafted from 6061 billet aluminum, ensuring they are lightweight, strong, and resistant to rust. The steel shock bodies are further protected with a zinc electroplating finish to combat corrosion and environmental elements. The valving for each shock or strut is carefully matched to the spring rate, contributing to superior ride quality and long-term reliability. On applicable models, Ksport's patented upper pillowball mounts offer integrated camber adjustment, eliminating the need for a separate camber kit. For those seeking maximum adjustability, an advanced upper pillowball mount option is available, providing independent camber and caster adjustments. Additionally, most applications feature an adjustable lower mount, allowing for ride height adjustment without compromising suspension travel, a common drawback in other coilover systems.
