The SF Racing Sport Coilovers are engineered for the 1986-1989 Honda Accord (CA) chassis, providing enhanced performance and adjustability for daily drivers. These coilovers feature a monotube damper design, which significantly improves heat dissipation and helps prevent oil leakage, ensuring consistent damping performance. The ride height is adjustable, allowing for a drop of 1-2.5 inches below factory height without compromising suspension travel, thanks to an independent lower mount adjustment that maintains shock and spring integrity. With 32 levels of adjustable damping, drivers can precisely tune both rebound and compression to achieve their desired ride quality. The construction incorporates T6-6061 aluminum for lightweight, corrosion-resistant top mounts, perches, and collars, while the shock bodies are electroplated for rust protection. These coilovers are a 100% bolt-on replacement, requiring no modifications for installation on the specified vehicle. Key specifications include 50mm diameter front and rear dampers, with front spring rates of 12 kg/mm and rear spring rates of 6.6 kg/mm. Top mounts are available in standard configurations with rubber bushings or optional pillowball bushings. The Sport Series dampers offer 1-way adjustable damping, affecting both rebound and compression simultaneously.
