This system offers 36 distinct levels of damping adjustment, enabling precise tuning of compression and rebound simultaneously to match your driving needs and comfort preferences. The internal Monotube construction ensures superior heat dissipation and consistent damping force, preventing performance fade during demanding use. Many applications feature pillow ball top mounts, which can offer camber adjustment and may negate the need for separate camber kits. Additionally, adjustable lower mounts are incorporated into most applications, allowing for ride height adjustment without sacrificing suspension travel, a common issue with other coilover designs. Constructed with durability and weight savings in mind, the Kontrol Pro coilovers incorporate 6061 billet aluminum for many components, ensuring they are lightweight, robust, and resistant to corrosion. Steel shock bodies are electroplated with zinc for enhanced protection against rust and environmental elements. The valving within each shock is carefully matched to the specific spring rate, delivering superior ride quality and reliability for a refined driving experience. The front spring rates are 8.7 kg/487 lbs, and the rear spring rates are 7.2 kg/403 lbs. This coilover kit is specifically designed to fit 1998-2005 Mitsubishi Galant and 2000-2005 Mitsubishi Eclipse models with McPherson struts.
