The cold-bent springs are crafted from high-strength SAE9252 steel, ensuring an optimal blend of ride comfort and dynamic performance. Race-quality shock oil is employed to maintain exceptional damper performance across a wide range of temperatures, whether on the street or the track. The MonoSS coilovers offer 16 distinct levels of damping adjustment, allowing users to fine-tune their suspension to their specific driving preferences. They also feature independent ride height and spring preload adjustments. The top mounts incorporate high-performance Japanese KOYO 6204Z bearing pillow ball mounts for precise steering input, and the lower shock brackets are made from either T7075 forged aluminum or durable carbon steel, designed for reduced weight without compromising strength. These brackets may also include brake line mounts where applicable. Installation requires careful attention to detail. It is crucial to verify all hardware before installation and to properly set the spring preload. The recommended preload is between 5-10mm (approximately 1/4 to 3/8 inch).
