This system offers a 36-way adjustable damping system, allowing for precise tuning from a comfortable street setting to a more aggressive track configuration. The collars and upper mounts are constructed from durable 6061 aluminum with a T6 treatment for increased hardness and reduced weight. Key features include an adjustable spring perch for ride height adjustment and adjustable lower mounts that ensure maximum suspension travel without compromising shock stroke. Many models equipped with pillowball upper mounts also offer camber adjustment, which is crucial for proper alignment after installation and can eliminate the need for a separate camber kit. The pillowball top mounts themselves enhance steering feel and response. Construction details include a monotube high-pressure shock design for superior heat dissipation and finer damping control, reducing the likelihood of oil leakage compared to twin-tube designs. The electroplated body offers enhanced protection against corrosion and rust, and dust boots are included to protect the damper seals.
