Monotube Rear Shock with Progressive Springs

The Godspeed Project MonoSS coilover suspension kit is engineered as a single-adjustable system, balancing streetable comfort with race-inspired performance at an accessible price point. It incorporates a monotube damper construction, utilizing a 52mm carbon seamless steel tube and a performance internal piston for enhanced response. The kit features cold-bent springs made from high-strength SAE9252 steel for an optimal blend of performance and ride comfort, including progressive rear springs. Key specifications include front spring rates of 8 kg/mm (448 lbs/inch) and rear rates of 12 kg/mm (672 lbs/inch). The dampers offer 16 levels of adjustment for fine-tuning ride preference. Lower shock brackets are crafted from durable T7075 forged aluminum or carbon steel, and include brake line mounts where applicable. The kit uses race-quality shock oil for consistent performance across various temperatures. Installation requires careful attention to hardware verification and spring preload, which should be set between 5-10mm (1/4-3/8 inch) prior to installation. Professional installation is highly recommended. The coilovers reuse the factory top mounts. This kit is compatible with the Chevrolet Camaro Coupe from 2010 to 2015, but it specifically excludes models equipped with MagneRide Suspensions.
