The Godspeed MonoSS coilovers are engineered as entry-level, single-adjustable suspension kits that bridge the gap between race performance and comfortable daily driving. Each unit features a robust monotube shock design, utilizing a 52mm carbon seamless steel tube and a performance internal piston for maximum damper response and consistency. The cold-bent springs are constructed from high-strength SAE9252 steel, carefully tuned to balance sporty handling with everyday comfort. These coilovers offer 16 levels of precise damper adjustability, allowing users to fine-tune their suspension settings. The top mounts include Koyo Japan 6204Z bearings and pillowball mounts, with front units featuring camber plates for alignment adjustments. The shock bodies are anodized for durability, and the lower mounts are crafted from lightweight T7075 forged aluminum or carbon steel brackets, ensuring both lightness and robustness. The independent adjustment of ride height and spring preload provides comprehensive control over the vehicle's stance and dynamics. Specifically designed for the BMW 3-Series (E36) RWD models from 1992 to 1999 (including 318i, 325i, and 328i), this kit is not compatible with the E36 M3 or AWD models. Installation requires verifying all hardware and properly setting the spring preload to 5-10mm (1/4-3/8in) prior to initial use.
