Monotube Strut with Threaded Body

Unlike twin-tube shocks, the monotube design of these IMS absorbers offers superior fade resistance on rough terrain, during extended 4WD expeditions, towing, or racing applications. Featuring a substantial 2.2" (56mm) heavy-duty shock body, these struts increase oil volume and enhance cooling efficiency. The high-flow, CNC-machined race piston (available in 50mm or 60mm) reduces internal pressures and heat buildup, translating to improved damping performance and better vehicle control, particularly during high-speed impacts or rough terrain navigation. The shock shaft is micro-polished, hard-chromed, and heat-treated for exceptional durability, while the DOM seamless tubing body offers robust off-road resilience. The adjustable spring seat, crafted from T6 6061 aluminum, allows for precise height tuning and further contributes to heat dissipation. Constructed with a carbon-fiber/PTFE composite wear band, the shock minimizes friction and extends service life. These shocks are designed as a direct, bolt-on replacement, simplifying installation.
