The Banks Monster-Ram Intake System is an air intake elbow engineered to enhance performance for 2007.5-2018 RAM 2500/3500 6.7L Cummins vehicles. Featuring a 4-inch CNC machined inlet, this system is designed to optimize air pressure and distribution into the intake manifold, accommodating stock mounting points for sensors, wire harness, and the dipstick tube. This intake system is equipped with four 1/8-inch NPT ports, which are ideal for the optimal atomization of water-methanol or nitrous oxide injection systems. It includes a proprietary #1 fuel line, a 4 to 3.5-inch hump hose, and all necessary hardware for installation. Installation involves removing the factory grid heater and preparing the manifold surface for a clean seal. Specific instructions are provided for connecting the OEM heater wire and handling various heater coil variants. For models with a rear-mounted thermocouple, modifications to the sensor connector and supplied harness extension may be necessary. The system also includes harness extensions, with 2 for 2007-2012 models and 3 for 2013-2018 models. It is important to note that this intake system is not emissions compliant and requires special ECU programming for pure race capability. This system does not fit Cab & Chassis models. Individual components may vary based on the year of the vehicle.
