Description

The Moog ES800402 is a steering tie rod end designed to restore like-new steering. It features a patented pressed-in cover plate that seals out debris and minimizes looseness, reducing bearing wear and promoting longer life. The tie rod end also includes a greaseable socket to reduce corrosion and wear by allowing new lubricant to flush contaminants, and a Belleville preload washer that helps keep the bearing package tight as bearings wear. Its ball stud is heat treated to match or exceed OE requirements for improved fatigue strength and to inhibit premature failure.
