It features a problem solver gusher bearing with a metal-to-metal design that allows grease to flow through the bearing surface, reducing friction and extending its life. The ball studs are heat-treated to meet or exceed OE requirements for enhanced fatigue strength and to prevent premature failure. This ball joint is greasable, helping to reduce corrosion and wear by allowing new lubricant to flush out contaminants. It also includes a Belleville preload washer to maintain bearing package tightness as the bearings wear, and a patented pressed-in cover plate to seal out debris and minimize looseness, thereby reducing wear and promoting longer life.
