The Moog ES800405 is a steering tie rod end designed for reliable performance. It features a patented pressed-in cover plate to seal out debris and minimize looseness, contributing to reduced bearing wear and extended life. This tie rod end is greaseable to reduce corrosion and wear, and includes a Belleville preload washer to help keep the bearing package tight as bearings wear.

The problem-solver Gusher Bearing design offers strength and durability, with a metal-to-metal construction that allows grease to flow through the bearing surface for reduced friction. The ball studs are heat-treated to meet or exceed OE requirements for enhanced fatigue strength and to prevent premature failure. Precision tolerances ensure easy installation and steering alignment.
