The Mopar 345 HEMI crate engine is a high-performance 5.7L long block assembly, providing the heart of the powerplants found in 2015 and newer Dodge Challenger models. Featuring a durable cast iron block with 4-bolt powder metal caps and hemispherical-chamber aluminum cylinder heads, it is designed for enthusiasts looking to integrate legendary HEMI performance into a custom build. This specific assembly is not equipped with the Multiple Displacement System (MDS), distinguishing it from certain factory configurations. Technically, this 345 cubic-inch engine features a 10.5:1 compression ratio, a forged steel crankshaft with a 94.6mm stroke, and a 103.9mm bore. The valvetrain utilizes 52.1mm intake and 39.4mm exhaust valves, delivering 383 horsepower and 417 lb.-ft. of torque at a 5,600 RPM peak. As a long block assembly, this product is not a turnkey solution. To complete the engine for operation, the installer must source and install a timing cover, water pump, oil pan, valve covers, exhaust manifolds, intake manifold, throttle body, and all necessary engine sensors.
