PRW Main Bearing Cap 1045 Billet Steel (1959-1979 Chrysler, Plymouth, Dodge, Bristol, Fargo, Dual-Ghia, Jensen, Facel Vega, DeSoto Fitment) - 1744002. These PRW Billet Steel Main Caps are designed to strengthen the bottom end of the engine. They are made from precision-machined, high-strength 1045 Billet Steel, offering a proper balance of strength and flexibility. They improve engine performance and reliability by eliminating main cap walk and reducing main bearing bore distortion. The caps are CNC machined and manufactured from 1045 low carbon steel, stabilizing the entire crankshaft rotating assembly.
