The Morimoto 2Banger A-Pillar LED system is a solution for additional lighting. It allows for various beam patterns, including long-range spot-lights and ditch lights, and is designed for versatility. The A-Pillar kit for the 2013+ Ford Transit has been engineered for perfect compatibility, lining up with pre-existing mounting points for a modification-free installation. Each bracket is laser cut from 304 stainless steel and powder coated for durability. The 2Banger features proprietary components, with LucidShape used to optimize performance around Osram LEDs. Thermal dynamics have been optimized using SolidWorks. It offers two performance tiers (white or yellow output) and four distinct beam patterns (Wide/Fog, Spot, Combo, and Flood). The HXB Spot beam provides illumination up to 700 meters, while the HXB Combo beam offers a blend of width and distance. The HXB Wide beam is designed to illuminate the ground directly in front of the vehicle and meets SAE F regulation for legal use as a fog light. The HXB Flood beam provides ambient light for low-speed driving or campgrounds. NCS beam patterns are also available for different lighting needs. The yellow-output version is designed for optimal output in rain, snow, or fog. The product emphasizes reliability with a copper DTP PCB for heat transfer, a cast aluminum shell electroplated before powder coating, and a gasket system, integrated DT power connection, and breather valves designed according to IP69K standards for weather resistance. When aimed properly, the Spot and Combo beam patterns comply with SAE J581 standards for an auxiliary high beam, and the wide beam model is verified-compliant with SAE-F regulation for on-road use as a fog light. The kit includes a high-quality wire harness with a triple-sealed 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder, DT06-2S female outputs, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and an M-Spec push-button switch with a yellow-LED backlight.
