The Morimoto 2Banger A-Pillar LED system is designed to provide powerful and versatile lighting, aimed precisely where needed. This kit includes high-performance 2Banger LED pods with an HXB Yellow Combo Beam pattern, installation brackets, and a switched wire harness for proper power delivery. Engineered with precision, Morimoto's A-Pillar kit for the 2014-2023 Toyota 4Runner has undergone extensive design, prototyping, and testing to ensure perfect compatibility and a modification-free installation using pre-existing mounting points. The brackets are laser-cut from 304 stainless steel and powder-coated for durability. The 2Banger pods feature proprietary components, including optimized optics with lumen-dense Osram LEDs using LucidShape, and enhanced thermal dynamics through SolidWorks. The HXB Combo Beam provides a balanced blend of width and distance, making it suitable for everyday driving in varied conditions and an excellent complement to high-performance headlights. The yellow output, achieved through phosphor-converted yellow LEDs, is specifically designed for optimal visibility in rain, snow, or fog without compromising output. The product is built for reliability with a copper DTP PCB for heat transfer, an electroplated and powder-coated cast aluminum shell, and an IP69K-rated gasket system with integrated DT power connection and breather valves for full weather resistance. When aimed properly, the combo beam patterns comply with SAE J581 standards for an auxiliary high beam. The included wire harness is engineered with triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder with 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push button switch with yellow-LED backlight.
