The Morimoto 2Banger A-Pillar LED system is designed to provide additional light, aimed precisely, for off-road use. It offers versatility with various beam patterns. The kit includes high-performance 2Banger LED pods, installation brackets, and a switched wire harness. The A-Pillar kit for the 2011-2016 Ford Super Duty is engineered for a modification-free installation, utilizing pre-existing mounting points. The brackets are laser cut from 304 stainless steel and powder coated for durability. The 2Banger features proprietary components, including lumen-dense Osram LEDs and optimized thermal dynamics. It comes in white or yellow output and four beam patterns: Wide/Fog, Spot, Combo, and Flood. The HXB Spot beam is designed for long-range illumination, penetrating up to 700 meters. The HXB Combo beam provides a blend of width and distance, while the HXB Wide beam offers illumination directly in front of the vehicle and is SAE F compliant for fog light use. The HXB Flood beam provides ambient light for low-speed driving and other close-range illumination. The yellow-output version uses Phosphor-converted Yellow LEDs for optimal performance in rain, snow, or fog. The product is designed for reliability with a copper DTP PCB and an IP69K rating for weather resistance. When aimed properly, the Spot and Combo beam patterns comply with SAE J581 for auxiliary high beams, and the Wide beam is SAE-F compliant for on-road use. The kit includes a high-quality wiring harness with a triple-sealed 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch.
