The Morimoto 2Banger A-Pillar LED system is designed to provide versatile lighting options, including long-range spot-lights and ditch lights. The A-Pillar kit for the 2015-2020 GMC Yukon ensures perfect compatibility with pre-existing mounting points, making installation modification-free. The brackets are laser-cut from 304 stainless steel and powder-coated for durability. The 2Banger features proprietary components, with LucidShape used to optimize performance around modern Osram LEDs and SolidWorks for thermal dynamics. It comes in two performance tiers (white or yellow output) and four distinct beam patterns (Wide/Fog, Spot, Combo, and Flood).

HXB Spot Beam: High-intensity, long-range illumination (up to 700 meters) using powerful Osram LEDs.
HXB Combo Beam: Blends width and distance for comfortable medium-range illumination, suitable as an aid to high-performance headlights.
HXB Wide Beam: Illuminates the ground directly in front of the vehicle with dual-axis control for width and active hot spot control. Passes SAE F regulation for legal fog light use.
HXB Flood Beam: Provides ambient, wide-coverage light for low-speed driving, rock crawling, backup, or camp illumination.
NCS Spot Beam: Focused 5-degree hot spot surrounded by a 14H x 4C degree flood beam for long-range visibility.
NCS Combo Beam: Blend of width and distance illumination for comfortable medium-range driving.
NCS Wide Beam: Wide beam to improve side visibility, complements high-performance headlights. Meets SAE standards for fog light use when aimed properly.

For all-weather visibility, white output is available, while yellow output with Phosphor-converted Yellow LEDs is designed for optimal performance in rain, snow, or fog without compromising output. The product is built for reliability with a copper DTP PCB for heat transfer and a cast aluminum shell that is electroplated and powder-coated. The gasket system, integrated DT power connection, and breather valves are designed to IP69K standards for full weather resistance. When aimed properly, Spot and Combo beams comply with SAE J581 for auxiliary high beams, and the Wide beam is SAE-F compliant for on-road fog light use. The kit includes a robust wiring harness with a triple-sealed 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder, and proprietary M-Spec push-button switch.
