The Morimoto 2Banger A-Pillar LED system (MPN 2B-PLR-KIT-1404) is a versatile lighting solution designed to provide additional illumination. It features high-performance 2Banger LED pods and comes with brackets for easy, modification-free installation on the 2021+ Ford Bronco. The brackets are laser-cut from 304 stainless steel and powder-coated for durability. The 2Banger pods utilize proprietary technology, including LucidShape for optimized performance with Osram LEDs and SolidWorks for thermal dynamics. They offer two performance tiers (white or yellow output) and four beam patterns: HXB Spot Beam, HXB Combo Beam, HXB Wide Beam, HXB Flood Beam, NCS Spot Beam, NCS Combo Beam, and NCS Wide Beam. The yellow-output version uses phosphor-converted yellow LEDs for optimal output in rain, snow, or fog. The lights are designed for reliability with a copper DTP PCB for heat transfer and a cast aluminum shell that is electroplated and powder-coated. The gasket system, integrated DT power connection, and breather valves are designed to IP69K standards for weather resistance. When aimed properly, the Spot and Combo beam patterns comply with SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams, and the Wide beam model is compliant with SAE-F regulation for on-road use as a fog light. The kit can be powered with an optional wire harness featuring a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and an M-Spec push-button switch with a yellow-LED backlight.
