This Morimoto 2Banger A-Pillar LED system is designed to provide additional light with versatile aiming options. It's suitable for various driving conditions, from long-range spot lighting to ditch lighting for illuminating the side of the road. The kit includes high-performance 2Banger LED pods (HXB Yellow SAE Wide Beam), installation brackets (BAF073), and a switched wire harness. Engineered for perfect compatibility and a modification-free installation using pre-existing mounting points. The brackets are laser-cut from 304 stainless steel and powder-coated for strength and resistance. The 2Banger utilizes proprietary components, including lumen-dense Osram LEDs and optimized optics (LucidShape). The HXB Wide Beam pattern illuminates the ground directly in front of the vehicle, offering dual-axis control for width and active hot spot control. It meets SAE F regulation for legal use as a fog light on public roads. The yellow-output version is specifically designed for optimal performance in rain, snow, or fog, using phosphor-converted yellow LEDs for effective light penetration without compromising output. Features a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB for maximum heat transfer, a cast aluminum shell that is electroplated and powder-coated, and a gasket system, integrated DT power connection, and breather valves designed to IP69K standards for weather resistance. The wide beam model is verified compliant with the latest SAE-F regulation for on-road use by Calcoast Labs in California when aimed properly. The kit includes a high-quality wire harness with a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay, proprietary over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch with a yellow-LED backlight.
