The Morimoto 2Banger A-Pillar LED system is a modification-free auxiliary lighting solution specifically designed for the 2003-2009 Lexus GX470. The kit includes laser-cut 304 stainless steel, powder-coated brackets that utilize existing mounting points for easy installation. The 2Banger LEDs feature Osram LEDs and LucidShape optics. It offers various beam patterns, including HXB Spot, HXB Combo, HXB Wide (SAE F compliant for fog lights), and HXB Flood, as well as NCS Spot, Combo, and Wide beams. Both white and phosphor-converted yellow output options are available, with yellow output providing enhanced performance in adverse weather conditions. The lights are built for durability and reliability, featuring a copper DTP PCB for optimized heat transfer, an electroplated and powder-coated cast aluminum shell, and a gasket system designed to IP69K weather resistance standards. The kit also includes a high-quality wiring harness with a triple-sealed 4-pin relay, an over-molded inline fuse holder, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch with a yellow-LED backlight. Spot and Combo beam patterns comply with SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams (when aimed correctly), and the Wide beam model is verified compliant with SAE-F regulation for on-road fog light use.
