The Morimoto 2Banger A-Pillar LED system provides a versatile lighting solution for your vehicle, offering various beam patterns for different driving conditions, from long-range spot-lights for high-speed driving to ditch lights for illuminating the side of the road. This kit includes high-performance 2Banger LED pods, installation brackets, and a switched wire harness. The A-Pillar kit for the 03-09 Toyota 4Runner has been engineered for perfect, modification-free compatibility, lining up with pre-existing mounting points. The brackets are laser-cut from 304 stainless steel and powder-coated for durability. The 2Banger features proprietary components, with LucidShape used to optimize performance around modern, lumen-dense Osram LEDs. Thermal dynamics are optimized using SolidWorks, and the product offers two performance tiers (HXB and NCS), white or yellow output, and four distinct beam patterns (Wide/Fog, Spot, Combo, and Flood). The HXB Yellow Spot Beam illuminates far into the distance, penetrating up to 700 meters, utilizing powerful Osram LEDs and advanced optics. The product is designed to be all-weather, with phosphor-converted Yellow LEDs for optimal output in rain, snow, or fog. Reliability is ensured with a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB for maximum heat transfer, a cast aluminum shell that is electroplated before powder coating, and a gasket system, integrated DT power connection, and breather valves designed to IP69K standards for full weather resistance. When aimed properly, the Spot and Combo beam patterns comply with SAE J581 standards for an auxiliary high beam, and the wide beam model is verified-compliant with SAE-F regulation for on-road use as a fog light. The kit includes a robust wiring harness with a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder, DT06-2S female outputs, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch with Yellow-LED backlight.
