The Morimoto 4Banger A-Pillar LED system is designed to provide additional light with versatile beam patterns. The kit is engineered for perfect, modification-free compatibility with the 2007-2013 Chevrolet Silverado. The brackets are laser cut from 304 stainless steel, electroplated, and powder coated for durability. The white-output version is ideal for all-around visibility, while a yellow-output version is available for optimal output in rain, snow, or fog, utilizing Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs. The lights feature copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB for maximum heat transfer, a cast aluminum shell, and potted internals with IP69K standards for weather resistance. Cable routing clips are integrated into the bracket stem for clean installation. The patent-pending 4Banger LED pod light uses LucidShape for optimized performance around Nichia and Osram LEDs. It's available in Wide/Fog, Spot, Combo, and Flood beam patterns, each designed for specific lighting needs (long-range, blend of width and distance, wide illumination with cutoff, ambient light). The HXB Wide Beam offers dual-axis control for width and hot spot, resembling an SAE-Compliant fog light pattern with added intensity. The kit can be paired with Morimoto's switched relay wire harness, which is also high-quality, featuring a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder with 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch with a Yellow-LED backlight. The A-Pillar brackets are compatible with LED pods from other brands like Baja Designs, KC Hi-Lites, Rigid Industries, and Diode Dynamics. When aimed properly, Spot and Combo beams comply with SAE J581 for auxiliary high beams, and Wide beam complies with SAE J583 for fog lamps. Optional blackout covers are available for compliance in localities requiring auxiliary lights to be covered.
