MORIMOTO 2BANGER DITCH LIGHT KIT: 1

The Morimoto 2Banger A-Pillar LED system is designed to provide additional light, aimed precisely where needed, from long-range spot-lights for high-speed driving to ditch lights for illuminating the side of the road. This kit includes high-performance 2Banger LED pods in your choice of beam pattern, installation brackets, and a switched wire harness for proper power.

The A-Pillar kit for the 2015-2020 Tahoe/Suburban has undergone extensive design, prototyping, and testing directly on the truck to ensure perfect compatibility. It utilizes pre-existing mounting points for a modification-free installation. The laser-cut 304 stainless steel brackets are powder-coated for durability.

Every element of the 2Banger is proprietary, with LucidShape used to optimize performance around modern, lumen-dense Osram LEDs. Thermal dynamics are optimized using SolidWorks. The product offers two performance tiers (white or yellow output) and four distinct beam patterns:

* **HXB Spot Beam:** Illuminates up to 700 meters into the distance with powerful Osram LEDs and advanced optics.
* **HXB Combo Beam:** Provides a blend of width and distance illumination for comfortable everyday driving.
* **HXB Wide Beam:** Illuminates the ground directly in front of the vehicle with dual-axis control for width and active hot spot control. Passes SAE F regulation for safe and legal use as a fog light.
* **HXB Flood Beam:** Provides ambient light with coverage in every direction, ideal for low-speed driving, rock crawling, back-up lights, or illuminating campgrounds.
* **NCS Spot Beam:** Illuminates well into the distance with a highly focused 5-degree hot spot surrounded by a 14H x 4C degree flood beam.
* **NCS Combo Beam:** Provides a blend of width and distance illumination.
* **NCS Wide Beam:** Illuminates the ground directly in front of the vehicle, offering a wide beam and superior vertical gradient control for use as fog lights.

The white-output version is suitable for all-around visibility, while the yellow-output version uses phosphor-converted Yellow LEDs for optimal output in rain, snow, or fog.

Extensive effort has been put into ensuring reliability, with a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB for maximized heat transfer, and a cast aluminum shell that is electroplated and powder-coated to withstand flaking. The gasket system, integrated DT power connection, and breather valves are designed according to IP69K standards for full weather resistance.

**Street Legality:**
* When aimed properly, the Spot and Combo beam patterns comply with SAE J581 standards for an auxiliary high beam.
* The 2Banger wide beam model is verified-compliant with the latest SAE-F regulation for on-road use by Calcoast Labs in California, making it a high-performance street-legal LED pod for use as a fog light.

**Power Up:**
The kit includes a high-quality wire harness with a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder with 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push button switch with Yellow-LED backlight.
