The Morimoto 2Banger A-Pillar LED system is designed to provide auxiliary lighting for off-road use. It includes high-performance 2Banger LED pods, application-specific brackets for easy installation, and a switched wire harness. The HXB Spot Beam is designed for long-range illumination. The kit is engineered for perfect compatibility with the specified Toyota 4Runner years, with no modifications required. The brackets are laser-cut from 304 stainless steel and powder-coated for durability. The 2Banger pods feature proprietary optics and Osram LEDs for optimized performance, with options for white or yellow output and various beam patterns (Spot, Wide/Fog, Combo, Flood). The HXB Spot Beam is capable of penetrating up to 700 meters. The product is designed for all-weather conditions, with phosphor-converted yellow LEDs for optimal output in rain, snow, or fog. Reliability is enhanced through a copper DTP PCB for heat transfer, a cast aluminum shell that is electroplated and powder-coated, and a gasket system, integrated DT power connection, and breather valves designed to IP69K standards for weather resistance. When aimed properly, the Spot and Combo beam patterns comply with SAE J581 standards for an auxiliary high beam, and the wide beam model complies with SAE-F regulation for on-road use as a fog light. The kit includes a high-quality wire harness with a triple-sealed 4-pin relay, proprietary over-molded inline fuse holder, DT06-2S female outputs, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and an M-Spec push-button switch with a yellow-LED backlight.
