The Morimoto 2Banger A-Pillar LED system is a kit for adding auxiliary lighting to a vehicle. It includes two 2Banger LED pods, application-specific mounting brackets, and a switched wire harness. The HXB Yellow Combo Beam is designed for optimal output in adverse weather conditions like rain, snow, or fog, using phosphor-converted yellow LEDs. The pods are engineered with proprietary optics (LucidShape), Osram LEDs, and optimized thermal dynamics (copper DTP PCB, SolidWorks analysis). The cast aluminum shell is electroplated and powder-coated, and the gasket system, integrated DT power connection, and breather valves are designed to IP69K standards for full weather resistance. The HXB Combo beam pattern provides a blend of width and distance illumination. The product is also available in white output and other beam patterns (Spot, Wide/Fog, Flood) and NCS performance tier.
