The Morimoto 2Banger A-Pillar LED system provides additional lighting and versatility. The kit includes high-performance 2Banger LED pods, brackets for easy installation, and a switched wire harness. The brackets are laser-cut from 304 stainless steel and powder-coated. The 2Banger LEDs utilize LucidShape for optimized performance with Osram LEDs and SolidWorks for optimized thermal dynamics. It comes in two performance tiers, white or yellow output, and four distinct beam patterns (Wide/Fog, Spot, Combo, and Flood). The HXB Spot beam offers long-range illumination up to 700 meters. The HXB Combo beam provides a blend of width and distance for medium-range illumination. The HXB Wide beam offers width and hotspot control, meeting SAE F regulation for legal fog light use. The HXB Flood beam provides ambient light for low-speed driving, rock crawling, or backup. The NCS Spot beam is a focused 5-degree hot spot with a 14H x 4C degree flood beam for long-range visibility. The NCS Combo beam provides a blend of width and distance for medium-range. The NCS Wide beam provides a very wide beam for improved side visibility and meets SAE standards for fog light use. The white-output version is for all-around visibility, while the yellow-output version is for optimal output in rain, snow, or fog, using Phosphor-converted Yellow LEDs. The product features a copper DTP PCB for heat transfer, a cast aluminum shell that is electroplated and powder-coated, and a gasket system, integrated DT power connection, and breather valves designed to IP69K standards for weather resistance. The Spot and Combo beam patterns comply with SAE J581 standards for an auxiliary high beam when aimed properly. The Wide beam model is compliant with the latest SAE-F regulation for on-road use as a fog light. The optional wire harness features a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder with 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push button switch with yellow-LED backlight.
