The Morimoto 2Banger A-Pillar LED system is designed to provide additional light precisely where needed. This kit offers versatility with various high-performance 2Banger LED pods in different beam patterns (Wide/Fog, Spot, Combo, and Flood), paired with brackets for easy installation and a switched wire harness for proper power. Morimoto's A-Pillar kit for the 2011-2016 Ford Super Duty has undergone extensive design, prototyping, and testing to ensure perfect, modification-free compatibility with existing mounting points. The brackets are laser-cut from 304 stainless steel and powder-coated for durability. The 2Banger's compact footprint allows for installation in areas where full-size pods may not fit. Every element of the 2Banger is proprietary, utilizing LucidShape for optimized performance with Osram LEDs and SolidWorks for thermal dynamics. The lights are available in white or yellow output. The HXB Spot Beam offers long-range illumination up to 700 meters, while the HXB Combo beam provides a blend of width and distance. The HXB Wide beam is SAE F compliant for fog light use, delivering excellent width and intensity. The HXB Flood beam offers broad ambient light for low-speed driving, rock crawling, or camp illumination. NCS beam options (Spot, Combo, Wide) are also available, providing excellent visibility with different focus points. The yellow-output version is ideal for adverse weather conditions like rain, snow, or fog, using phosphor-converted Yellow LEDs for optimal output without compromising intensity. The product is designed for reliability with a copper DTP PCB and a cast aluminum shell that is electroplated and powder-coated. The gasket system, integrated DT power connection, and breather valves meet IP69K standards for full weather resistance. When aimed properly, the Spot and Combo beam patterns comply with SAE J581 for auxiliary high beams, and the Wide beam is verified compliant with SAE-F regulation for on-road fog light use. The optional wire harness is built with high-quality components, including a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder, DT06-2S female outputs, stainless steel terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch.
