The Morimoto 4Banger A-Pillar LED system provides enhanced lighting with versatile aiming options, from long-range spot-lights to ditch lights. This A-Pillar kit for the 2015-2020 Ford F150 is engineered for perfect compatibility, ensuring a modification-free installation using pre-existing mounting points. The brackets are laser-cut from 304 stainless steel, electroplated, and powder-coated for extreme durability. The yellow-output version utilizes Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs for optimal penetration in rain, snow, or fog without compromising output. The system is designed for reliability with a copper DTP PCB for maximum heat transfer, and a cast aluminum shell that is electroplated and powder-coated to prevent flaking. The internals are potted, input wiring is over-molded, and the main gasket meets IP69K standards for full weather resistance. Cable routing clips are incorporated for a clean installation with Morimoto's switched relay wire harness. The patent-pending 4Banger LED pod light features optimized performance using lumen-dense LEDs from Nichia and Osram, with optics produced to world-class standards and optimized thermal dynamics. The HXB Combo Beam provides a blend of width and distance illumination for a clear path with medium range, offering an 8H x 4V oval hot spot with a 10V degree spread at beam center. The optional wire harness is designed with high-quality components, including a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder with 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch with an amber-LED backlight. The A-Pillar brackets are compatible with LED pods from most other brands. When aimed properly, the Spot and Combo beams comply with SAE J581 standards for an auxiliary high beam, and the Wide beam model is compliant with SAE J583 for use in fog lamps. Optional Blackout Covers are available for compliance with localities requiring auxiliary lights to be covered for everyday driving.
