The Morimoto 2Banger A-Pillar LED system is designed to provide additional light, aimed precisely. This kit includes high-performance 2Banger LED pods with an HXB White Flood Beam pattern, brackets for easy, modification-free installation, and a switched wire harness for proper power. The brackets are laser cut from 304 stainless steel and powder-coated for durability. The 2Banger pods feature proprietary components, including lumen-dense Osram LEDs and optimized thermal dynamics. The HXB Flood Beam provides ambient light with wide coverage, suitable for low-speed driving, rock crawling, backup lights, or illuminating campgrounds. The product is designed to meet IP69K standards for weather resistance and includes a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB for heat transfer. When aimed properly, the Spot and Combo beam patterns comply with SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams, and the Wide beam model is verified compliant with SAE-F regulation for on-road use as a fog light by Calcoast Labs. The kit includes a robust wire harness with a triple-sealed 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch with a yellow-LED backlight.
