The Morimoto 2Banger A-Pillar LED system is a versatile lighting solution designed for the 2021 and newer Ford Bronco Sport. It provides options for long-range spot-lights and ditch lights, with a guaranteed modification-free installation using pre-existing mounting points. The brackets are constructed from laser-cut 304 stainless steel and are powder-coated for exceptional durability. The compact design of the 2Banger pods allows for installation in spaces where larger lights might not fit.

This lighting system utilizes proprietary LucidShape optics and high-performance LEDs from Osram (HXB series) or other advanced LEDs (NCS series). It offers two performance tiers and a choice of white or yellow light output. Four distinct beam patterns are available:

* **HXB Spot Beam:** Designed for maximum long-range illumination, capable of penetrating up to 700 meters.
* **HXB Combo Beam:** Offers a balanced blend of width and distance, ideal for comfortable medium-range driving.
* **HXB Wide Beam:** Provides extensive illumination directly in front of the vehicle with dual-axis control for width and hotspot. This beam pattern meets SAE F regulations, making it street-legal for use as a fog light.
* **HXB Flood Beam:** Delivers broad ambient light, perfect for low-speed maneuvers, rock crawling, backup lighting, or illuminating campsites.
* **NCS Spot Beam:** Features a highly focused 5-degree hotspot surrounded by a 14H x 4C degree flood beam for excellent long-range visibility.
* **NCS Combo Beam:** Offers a blend of width and distance illumination for comfortable medium-range visibility.
* **NCS Wide Beam:** Produces a very wide beam to enhance visibility to the sides of the road, complementing high-performance headlights. It incorporates superior vertical gradient control to prevent glare to oncoming traffic and, when properly aimed and mounted as a fog light, meets the latest SAE standards for street-legal use.

For adverse weather conditions, the yellow-output versions utilize Phosphor-converted Yellow LEDs, which generate yellow light at the source for optimal penetration through rain, snow, and fog without compromising overall light output.

The 2Banger system prioritizes reliability with a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB for efficient heat transfer to an optimized radiator. The cast aluminum shell is electroplated and powder-coated to resist flaking, and the entire system, including the gasket, integrated DT power connection, and breather valves, is designed to IP69K standards for full weather resistance.

**Street Legality:**
* When properly aimed, the Spot and Combo beam patterns adhere to SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams.
* The Wide beam model has been verified by Calcoast Labs in California to comply with the latest SAE-F regulation for on-road use as a fog light.

**Power:**
The optional wire harness is engineered with high-quality components, including a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay with a hanger, a proprietary over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch with a yellow-LED backlight.
