The Morimoto 2Banger A-Pillar LED system is designed to provide additional light. It offers versatility with various beam patterns for different driving needs, from long-range spot-lights to ditch lights. The A-Pillar kit for the 2019+ Silverado 1500 is engineered for perfect compatibility and a modification-free installation using pre-existing mounting points. The brackets are made from laser-cut 304 stainless steel and powder-coated for durability. The 2Banger uses proprietary components, including lumen-dense Osram LEDs, and optimized thermal dynamics. It comes in two performance tiers, white or yellow output, and four beam patterns: Wide/Fog, Spot, Combo, and Flood. The Yellow-output version uses phosphor-converted Yellow LEDs for optimal output in rain, snow, or fog. The product is designed for reliability with a copper DTP PCB for heat transfer and a cast aluminum shell that is electroplated and powder-coated. The gasket system, integrated DT power connection, and breather valves are designed according to IP69K standards for full weather resistance. When aimed properly, the Spot and Combo beam patterns comply with SAE J581 for an auxiliary high beam, and the Wide beam model is verified compliant with SAE-F regulation for on-road use as a fog light. The kit includes a high-quality wire harness with a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder, DT06-2S female outputs, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and an M-Spec push-button switch with a Yellow-LED backlight.
