The Morimoto 2Banger A-Pillar LED system offers a versatile lighting solution for the 2003-2009 Lexus GX470. This kit provides options for long-range spot lighting or ditch lights to illuminate the side of the road. It's engineered for perfect compatibility and a modification-free installation using pre-existing mounting points. The brackets are laser cut from 304 stainless steel and powder coated for durability. The 2Banger LED pods feature proprietary internals, including LucidShape optimized performance with Osram LEDs and SolidWorks optimized thermal dynamics. Available in two performance tiers (HXB and NCS), with white or yellow output, and four distinct beam patterns: HXB Spot Beam (illuminates up to 700 meters), HXB Combo Beam (blend of width and distance for medium-range illumination), HXB Wide Beam (illuminates the ground directly in front of the vehicle, is SAE F compliant, and can be used as a fog light), HXB Flood Beam (provides ambient light for low-speed driving, rock crawling, backup, or illuminating campgrounds), NCS Spot Beam (focused 5-degree hot spot surrounded by a 14H x 4C degree flood beam for long-range visibility), NCS Combo Beam (blend of width and distance for comfortable medium-range illumination), NCS Wide Beam (very wide beam to improve side visibility, with superior vertical gradient control to eliminate glare, and meets SAE standards for fog light use when aimed properly). The white-output version is suitable for all-around visibility, while the yellow-output version (using Phosphor-converted Yellow LEDs) is designed for optimal performance in rain, snow, or fog. Reliability is ensured through features like a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB for heat transfer, a cast aluminum shell electroplated before powder coating, and a gasket system with integrated DT power connection and breather valves designed to IP69K standards for weather resistance. Street legality is maintained: Spot and Combo beam patterns comply with SAE J581 for auxiliary high beams, and the Wide beam model is verified-compliant with the latest SAE-F regulation for on-road fog light use. The kit includes a high-quality wire harness with a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch with a yellow-LED backlight.
