The Morimoto 2Banger A-Pillar LED system is designed to provide auxiliary lighting for off-road and varied driving conditions. It offers versatility with options for long-range spot-lights for high-speed driving or ditch lights to illuminate the side of the road. The kit includes high-performance 2Banger LED pods, vehicle-specific mounting brackets, and a switched wire harness for easy installation.

Engineered Fitment: This A-Pillar kit is specifically engineered for the 2014-2023 Toyota 4Runner. It has undergone extensive design, prototyping, and testing to ensure perfect compatibility with existing mounting points, guaranteeing a modification-free installation. The brackets are constructed from laser-cut 304 stainless steel and finished with a powder coating for durability.

Performance and Features:
Proprietary Design: Every component of the 2Banger system is proprietary, with optimized performance around modern, lumen-dense Osram LEDs using LucidShape technology.
Thermal Management: Optimized thermal dynamics using SolidWorks and a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB maximize heat transfer to the radiator, ensuring reliability.
Beam Patterns: Available in two performance tiers (HXB and NCS) and four distinct beam patterns:
Spot Beam (HXB & NCS): Illuminates far into the distance (HXB up to 700 meters).
Combo Beam (HXB & NCS): Provides a blend of width and distance for medium-range illumination.
Wide Beam (HXB & NCS): Illuminates the ground directly in front of the vehicle, offering a wide spread. The HXB Wide beam is SAE F compliant for legal on-road use as a fog light.
Flood Beam (HXB only): Provides ambient light with broad coverage, ideal for low-speed driving, rock crawling, or camp illumination.
Color Output: Available in white for all-around visibility and phosphor-converted yellow for optimal output in rain, snow, or fog.
Reliability: Features a cast aluminum shell that is electroplated and powder-coated. The gasket system, integrated DT power connection, and breather valves are designed to meet IP69K standards for full weather resistance.
Street Legality: Spot and Combo beam patterns comply with SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams when aimed properly. The Wide beam model is verified-compliant with SAE-F regulation for on-road use as a fog light.
Wiring Harness: Includes a robust wiring harness with a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch with a Yellow-LED backlight.
