The Morimoto 2Banger A-Pillar LED system is designed to provide additional light, aimed precisely for various driving conditions, from long-range spotlights to ditch lights. The kit includes high-performance 2Banger LED pods (HXB Yellow Flood Beam in this case), installation brackets designed for a modification-free fitment, and a switched wire harness. The 2Banger pods feature proprietary internal components, including Osram LEDs and optimized thermal dynamics. The HXB Flood Beam provides ample ambient light with broad coverage, ideal for low-speed driving, rock crawling, backup lights, or illuminating campgrounds. The yellow output is specifically designed for optimal performance in rain, snow, or fog using phosphor-converted yellow LEDs for effective penetration through atmospheric particles. The system is built for reliability with a copper DTP PCB and a cast aluminum shell that is electroplated and powder-coated for durability. The gasket system, integrated DT power connection, and breather valves are designed to IP69K standards for full weather resistance. The included wiring harness is robust, featuring a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay, an over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch with a yellow-LED backlight.
