The Morimoto 2Banger A-Pillar LED system is engineered for versatility and high performance, offering a superior lighting solution for the 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma. This kit ensures a precise, modification-free installation, aligning perfectly with the truck's pre-existing mounting points. The laser-cut 304 stainless steel brackets are powder-coated for durability, capable of withstanding harsh off-road conditions.

At the core of the 2Banger system are proprietary HXB Flood Beam optics, utilizing modern, lumen-dense Osram LEDs. This specific flood beam pattern is designed to provide abundant ambient light, spreading coverage in every direction. This makes it ideal for low-speed maneuvers, technical rock crawling, or setting up camp, where broad area illumination is crucial. Unlike beams that project far into the distance, the flood beam prioritizes comfortable and comprehensive illumination of the immediate surroundings.

For challenging weather, the yellow-output version employs phosphor-converted yellow LEDs that generate yellow light at its origin. This method is highly effective in penetrating rain, snow, or fog without compromising light output, offering a significant performance advantage over white lights filtered with a yellow lens.

Reliability is paramount, with the 2Banger featuring a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB to maximize heat transfer to the radiator, optimized through extensive thermal analysis. The cast aluminum shell is electroplated before powder coating to resist flaking. The integrated gasket system, DT power connection, and breather valves are all designed to IP69K standards, ensuring full weather resistance. The kit also includes a high-quality switched wire harness, featuring a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay, an over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch with a yellow-LED backlight.
