The Morimoto 2Banger A-Pillar LED system is designed to provide additional light, offering versatility for various driving needs, from long-range spotlighting for high-speed driving to ditch lights for illuminating the side of the road. The kit is engineered for a precise, modification-free fitment on the 2014-2018 GMC Sierra 1500, with brackets laser-cut from 304 stainless steel and powder-coated for durability. The 2Banger LEDs feature proprietary components, including lumen-dense Osram LEDs and optimized optics for superior performance. The HXB spot beam is designed to illuminate up to 700 meters, while other beam patterns like Combo, Wide, and Flood are available for different lighting needs. The white-output version is suitable for all-around visibility, while a yellow-output version is available for optimal output in rain, snow, or fog. The lights are designed to meet IP69K standards for weather resistance and, when aimed properly, the Spot and Combo beam patterns comply with SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams. The Wide beam model is compliant with SAE-F regulation for on-road use as a fog light. The kit includes a robust wiring harness with a triple-sealed 4-pin relay, inline fuse holder, DT06-2S female outputs, stainless steel terminals, and an M-Spec push-button switch.
