The Morimoto 4Banger A-Pillar LED system provides more light, aimed exactly where desired. It offers versatility with different beam patterns. The A-Pillar kit for the 2010-2014 Ford Raptor has been tested for perfect compatibility and modification-free installation using pre-existing mounting points. Brackets are made from laser-cut 304 stainless steel, electroplated, and powder-coated for durability. The white-output version is ideal for all-around visibility, while a yellow-output version is available for optimal output in rain, snow, or fog (using Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs). The product prioritizes reliability with a copper DTP PCB for heat transfer, an optimized radiator, and a cast aluminum shell that's electroplated and powder-coated. It has potted internals, over-molded input wiring, and a main gasket designed to IP69K standards for weather resistance. It includes cable routing clips on the bracket stem for clean wiring with Morimoto's switched relay wire harness. The 4Banger LED pod light has proprietary elements, utilizing LucidShape for performance optimization around Nichia and Osram LEDs. It's available with three beam patterns: Wide/Fog, Spot, and Combo.
* HXB Combo Beam: Illuminates a clear path with medium range, blend of width and distance. 8H x 4V oval hot spot with 10V degree spread.
* HXB Spot Beam: Illuminates far into the distance (up to 800 meters) with powerful Osram LEDs.
* HXB Wide Beam: Illuminates the ground directly in front of the vehicle, with dual-axis control for width and active hot spot control. Resembles an SAE-Compliant fog light pattern.
* NCS Combo Beam: Similar to HXB Combo, medium range.
* NCS Spot Beam: Illuminates well into the distance with a highly focused 5-degree hot spot and 14H x 4C degree flood beam.
* NCS Wide Beam: Illuminates the ground directly in front of the vehicle, wide beam for side visibility, superior vertical gradient control to eliminate glare.
The optional wire harness features a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder with 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and an M-Spec push-button switch with amber-LED backlight. The A-Pillar brackets are compatible with LED pods from most other brands. When aimed properly, Spot and Combo beams comply with SAE J581 for auxiliary high beam, and Wide beam complies with SAE J583 for fog lamps. Optional Blackout Covers are available.
