The Morimoto 2Banger A-Pillar LED system provides additional lighting that can be aimed as needed. It offers versatility with different beam patterns, including long-range spot-lights for high-speed driving and ditch lights for illuminating the side of the road. The kit includes high-performance 2Banger LED pods and brackets for a modification-free installation using pre-existing mounting points. The brackets are laser-cut from 304 stainless steel and powder-coated for durability. The 2Banger's compact footprint allows for installation where full-size pods may not fit. The product utilizes lumen-dense Osram LEDs and optimized thermal dynamics. It comes in two performance tiers, with white or yellow output, and four distinct beam patterns (Wide/Fog, Spot, Combo, and Flood). The HXB Spot beam is designed for long-distance illumination, penetrating up to 700 meters. The yellow-output version is recommended for optimal performance in rain, snow, or fog, using phosphor-converted yellow LEDs. The system is designed according to IP69K standards for full weather resistance. The Spot and Combo beam patterns, when aimed properly, comply with SAE J581 standards for an auxiliary high beam. The wide beam model is compliant with the latest SAE-F regulation for on-road fog light use by Calcoast Labs. An optional wire harness is available, featuring a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder, and DT06-2S female outputs.
