The Morimoto 2Banger A-Pillar LED system is designed to provide additional light, aimed precisely. It offers versatility with various beam patterns. The A-Pillar kit for the 2015-2017 Ford Mustang is engineered for perfect compatibility, lining up with pre-existing mounting points for a modification-free installation. The brackets are laser cut from 304 stainless steel and powder-coated. The 2Banger features proprietary components, optimized performance around modern, lumen-dense LEDs from Osram, and optimized thermal dynamics. It comes in white or yellow output and four beam patterns (Wide/Fog, Spot, Combo, and Flood). The product emphasizes reliability with features like a copper DTP PCB for heat transfer, electroplated cast aluminum shell, and IP69K weather resistance. Some beam patterns (Spot and Combo) comply with SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams when aimed properly, and the Wide beam is verified compliant with SAE-F regulation for on-road use as a fog light by Calcoast Labs. The kit includes a robust wire harness with a triple-sealed 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder, and proprietary M-Spec push-button switch.
