The Morimoto 2Banger A-Pillar LED system is a versatile lighting solution designed for increased visibility. It allows for various beam patterns, including long-range spotlights for high-speed driving and drift lights for illuminating the side of the road. The A-Pillar kit ensures perfect compatibility with the 2024+ Ford Mustang, aligning with pre-existing mounting points for a modification-free installation. The brackets are laser cut from 304 stainless steel and powder-coated for durability. The 2Banger features proprietary components, including Osram LEDs, and optimized thermal dynamics using SolidWorks. It offers two performance tiers (white or yellow output) and four distinct beam patterns (Wide/Fog, Spot, Combo, and Flood). The HXB Combo Beam provides a blend of width and distance illumination for comfortable driving. The yellow output version uses Phosphor-converted Yellow LEDs for optimal penetration in rain, snow, or fog without compromising output. The product is built for reliability with a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB for heat transfer, a cast aluminum shell that is electroplated and powder-coated, and a gasket system designed to IP69K standards for weather resistance. When aimed properly, the Spot and Combo beam patterns comply with SAE J581 standards for an auxiliary high beam, and the wide beam model is verified-compliant with the latest SAE-F regulation for on-road use as a fog light. The kit includes a robust wire harness with a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch with yellow-LED backlight.
