The Morimoto 2Banger A-Pillar LED system is a versatile lighting solution designed to provide enhanced illumination. It includes high-performance 2Banger LED pods, mounting brackets, and a switched wire harness. The kit is engineered for perfect compatibility with the 08-23 Dodge Challenger, ensuring a modification-free installation. The laser-cut 304 stainless steel brackets are powder-coated for durability. The 2Banger features proprietary components, with performance optimized using LucidShape and Osram LEDs for the HXB Spot beam. Thermal dynamics are optimized with SolidWorks, and the product is available in two performance tiers, white or yellow output, and four beam patterns: Wide/Fog, Spot, Combo, and Flood. The yellow-output version uses Phosphor-converted Yellow LEDs for optimal output in adverse weather conditions. Reliability is ensured through a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB for maximum heat transfer, electroplated and powder-coated cast aluminum housing, and a gasket system, integrated DT power connection, and breather valves designed to IP69K standards for full weather resistance. When aimed properly, the Spot and Combo beam patterns comply with SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams, and the Wide beam model is verified-compliant with the latest SAE-F regulation for on-road use as a fog light. The included wire harness features a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder with 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch with Yellow-LED backlight.
