MORIMOTO 2BANGER DRIFT LIGHT KIT: 2

The Morimoto 2Banger A-Pillar LED system is designed to provide additional light, aimed precisely where needed. This kit includes high-performance 2Banger LED pods in a spot beam pattern, vehicle-specific brackets for easy installation, and a switched wire harness for proper power. The A-Pillar kit for the 2024+ Ford Mustang has been rigorously designed and tested to ensure perfect, modification-free compatibility with pre-existing mounting points. The brackets are laser cut from 304 stainless steel and powder coated for durability.

The 2Banger utilizes proprietary components, optimized for performance with modern Osram LEDs and LucidShape technology. Thermal dynamics are managed with SolidWorks, incorporating a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB for maximum heat transfer to an optimized radiator. The cast aluminum shell is electroplated and powder coated for flaking resistance. The gasket system, integrated DT power connection, and breather valves are designed to IP69K standards for full weather resistance.

This specific kit features the HXB Spot Beam, which offers powerful Osram LEDs and advanced optics, capable of illuminating up to 700 meters into the distance. The yellow output version is specifically designed for optimal visibility in rain, snow, or fog, using phosphor-converted yellow LEDs for effective light penetration without compromising output. The wire harness included in the kit is designed with high-quality components, including a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch with a yellow-LED backlight. When aimed properly, the Spot and Combo beam patterns comply with SAE J581 standards for an auxiliary high beam.
