The Morimoto 2Banger A-Pillar LED system is a ditch light kit designed to provide versatile lighting for various driving needs, from long-range spotlights to ditch lights. The kit includes high-performance 2Banger LED pods, brackets for easy installation, and a switched wire harness. It is designed for a modification-free installation using pre-existing mounting points. The brackets are laser cut from 304 stainless steel and powder-coated for durability.

The 2Banger features proprietary components, including optics optimized with LucidShape and Osram LEDs, and thermal dynamics optimized with SolidWorks. It comes in two performance tiers (white or yellow output) and four beam patterns:
* **HXB Spot Beam:** Illuminates up to 700 meters, ideal for high-speed driving.
* **HXB Combo Beam:** Provides a blend of width and distance, suitable for everyday driving.
* **HXB Wide Beam:** Illuminates the ground directly in front of the vehicle, with dual-axis control for width and hotspot, and meets SAE F regulation for fog lights.
* **HXB Flood Beam:** Provides ambient light for low-speed driving, rock crawling, or backup lights.
* **NCS Spot Beam:** Focused 5-degree hotspot with a 14H x 4C degree flood beam for long-range visibility.
* **NCS Combo Beam:** Blend of width and distance, similar to HXB Combo.
* **NCS Wide Beam:** Very wide beam for improved side visibility, meets SAE standards for fog lights when aimed properly.

The white-output version is for all-around visibility, while the yellow-output version uses phosphor-converted Yellow LEDs for optimal output in rain, snow, or fog. The product is designed for reliability with a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB, a cast aluminum shell, and a gasket system, integrated DT power connection, and breather valves designed according to IP69K standards for weather resistance.

**Street Legality:**
When aimed properly, the Spot and Combo beam patterns comply with SAE J581 standards for an auxiliary high beam. The 2Banger wide beam model has been verified-compliant with the latest SAE-F regulation for on-road use as a fog light by Calcoast Labs in California.
