The Morimoto Drift Light system is a bolt-on solution designed to significantly enhance light output for sports cars in dark conditions. This kit is specifically engineered for perfect compatibility with the 2012-2020 FR-S, BRZ, and GT86, utilizing pre-existing mounting points for a modification-free installation. The brackets are laser cut from 304 stainless steel and powder coated for extreme durability. The white-output version is suitable for all-around visibility, while a yellow-output version is available for optimal performance in rain, snow, or fog, using Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs. The Banger LED pods feature a copper DTP PCB for maximum heat transfer, and the cast aluminum shell is electroplated and powder-coated for corrosion resistance. The internals, wiring, and gaskets are designed to IP69K standards for full weather resistance. The kit includes integrated mounting locations and cable routing clips for clean wiring with the Morimoto switched relay wire harness. The patented LED pods are optimized using LucidShape with Nichia and Osram LEDs, and are available in various beam patterns including Wide/Fog, Spot, Combo, Flood, and Trail. This specific product is a 'Spot Beam', capable of penetrating up to 800 meters. The wiring harness includes a triple sealed proprietary 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch with a yellow-LED backlight. The product is DOT compliant.
