The Morimoto 4Banger A-Pillar LED system is designed to provide additional light, aimed precisely for various needs, from long-range spotlights to ditch lights for illuminating the side of the road. This kit includes high-performance 4Banger LED pods, installation brackets, and a switched wire harness for proper power. The A-Pillar kit for the 2015+ Canyon has been rigorously tested to ensure perfect compatibility and a modification-free installation using pre-existing mounting points. The brackets are laser-cut from 304 stainless steel, electroplated, and powder-coated for durability. The yellow-output version of these lights is designed for optimal performance in rain, snow, or fog, utilizing Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs to produce yellow light at the source for better penetration through particles in the air without compromising output. The product prioritizes reliability with features like a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB for maximizing heat transfer, a cast aluminum shell that is electroplated before powder coating to resist flaking, and potted internals, over-molded input wiring, and a main gasket designed to IP69K standards for full weather resistance. It also includes cable routing clips on the bracket stem for clean wiring. The patent-pending 4Banger LED pod light utilizes LucidShape to optimize performance with modern, lumen-dense LEDs from Nichia and Osram, and its thermal dynamics are optimized using SolidWorks. The NCS Combo Beam offers a blend of width and distance illumination with an 8H x 4V oval hot spot and a 10V degree spread at beam center, making it an excellent aid to any high-performance headlights.
