This Morimoto 4Banger A-Pillar LED system is a hood ditch-mounted light kit designed for the 2019+ Silverado 1500. It offers increased light output, aimed precisely where needed, with a focus on versatility for various driving conditions. The kit features high-performance 4Banger LED pods with a NCS (Next-Gen Cold Start) yellow spot beam pattern. Key features include: Engineered Fitment: Designed specifically for the 2019+ Silverado 1500, ensuring modification-free installation using existing mounting points. Durable Construction: Brackets are laser-cut from 304 stainless steel, electroplated, and powder-coated for extreme durability. All-Weather Performance: Yellow-output version is optimized for rain, snow, or fog, using Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs for effective light penetration without compromising output. Reliability: Features a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB for maximum heat transfer, optimized radiator, electroplated cast aluminum shell, and potted internals with over-molded input wiring and main gasket designed to IP69K standards for full weather resistance. Cable Management: Incorporated mounting locations and cable routing clips on the bracket stem for clean wiring. Performance: Utilizes LucidShape for optimized performance with modern, lumen-dense LEDs from Nichia and Osram. The NCS Spot Beam provides a highly focused 5-degree hotspot surrounded by a 14H x 4C degree flood beam for long-range visibility. Power Up: Includes an optional high-quality wire harness with a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder, DT06-2S female outputs, stainless steel terminals, and an M-Spec push-button switch. Compatibility: A-Pillar brackets are compatible with LED pods from most other brands (Baja Designs, KC Hi-Lites, Rigid Industries, Diode Dynamics). Street Legality: When properly aimed, Spot and Combo beams comply with SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams. NCS and HXB Wide Beam models are compliant with SAE F regulation for street-legal fog lights when aimed at -4 degrees. Optional blackout covers are available for localities requiring auxiliary lights to be covered.
