The Morimoto 4Banger A-Pillar LED system is a comprehensive lighting solution designed to provide versatile illumination for vehicles. This kit includes high-performance 4Banger LED pods with a "Wide Beam" pattern, specifically engineered brackets for a seamless, modification-free installation, and a switched wire harness for proper power delivery. The NCS Wide Beam illuminates the area directly in front of the vehicle and off to the sides, enhancing visibility without glaring oncoming traffic, and is verified compliant with SAE F regulation for use as a street-legal fog light when aimed appropriately.

The product's construction emphasizes durability and weather resistance. Each bracket is laser-cut from 304 stainless steel, electroplated, and powder-coated to withstand harsh conditions. The white-output version is suitable for all-around visibility, while a yellow-output version is also available for optimal performance in adverse weather like rain, snow, or fog, utilizing Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs for effective light penetration.

For reliability, the 4Banger features a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB for maximum heat transfer to an optimized radiator, preventing overheating. The cast aluminum shell is electroplated and powder-coated to prevent flaking, and the internals are potted, with over-molded input wiring and a main gasket designed to IP69K standards for full weather resistance. Cable management is addressed with integrated mounting locations and routing clips on the bracket stem. The optional wire harness is designed for quality, featuring a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay, an over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch with an amber-LED backlight. The A-Pillar brackets are compatible with LED pods from various other brands, including Baja Designs, KC Hi-Lites, Rigid Industries, and Diode Dynamics.
