The Morimoto 4Banger A-Pillar LED system provides additional lighting for off-road use, offering versatility with different beam patterns. The A-pillar kit for the 2003-2009 Toyota 4Runner is designed for a modification-free installation. The brackets are laser-cut from 304 stainless steel, electroplated, and powder-coated for durability. The yellow-output version uses Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs for optimal output in rain, snow, or fog. The 4Banger LED pods feature a copper DTP PCB for heat management, and the cast aluminum shell is electroplated and powder-coated for weather resistance (IP69K standards). The kit includes cable routing clips for clean wiring with Morimoto's switched relay wire harness. The NCS Combo beam provides a clear path with medium range, offering a blend of width and distance. The kit is compatible with LED pods from most other brands including Baja Designs, KC Hi-Lites, Rigid Industries, and Diode Dynamics. When aimed properly, the Spot and Combo beams comply with SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams, and the Wide beam model is compliant with SAE J583 for fog lamps.
