The Morimoto 4Banger A-Pillar LED system is a solution for increased lighting, offering versatility for various lighting needs (long-range, ditch lights). It includes high-performance 4Banger LED pods, installation brackets, and a switched wire harness. The kit is engineered for a modification-free installation on the 2010-2013 Toyota 4Runner, using pre-existing mounting points. The brackets are made from laser-cut 304 stainless steel, electroplated, and powder-coated for durability. This yellow-output version uses Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs for optimal output in rain, snow, or fog. The product emphasizes reliability with features like a copper DTP PCB for heat transfer, a cast aluminum shell, and IP69K standards for weather resistance. It also includes cable management features for a clean installation. The 4Banger LED pods utilize LucidShape for performance optimization with Nichia and Osram LEDs, and are available in Wide/Fog, Spot, and Combo beam patterns. The NCS Combo Beam offers a blend of width and distance, making it suitable for everyday driving. The optional wire harness is designed with high-quality components. The A-Pillar brackets are compatible with LED pods from other brands. When aimed properly, the Spot and Combo beams comply with SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams, and the Wide beam is compliant with SAE J583 for fog lamps.
